  • Junior Engineer (Civil), CPWD – B.E. / B.Tech. / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Junior Engineer (Electrical), CPWD – B.E. / B.Tech. / Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognised University/Institute.
  • Junior Engineer (Civil), Department of Posts – B.E. / B.Tech. / 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Junior Engineer (Electrical), Department of Posts – B.E. / B.Tech. / 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Junior Engineer (Civil), MES – B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering OR 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute and with 2 years work experience in civil engineering works.

  • Junior Engineer (Civil, Electrical & Mechanical), MES – Not exceeding 30 years.
  • There is age relaxation in the upper age limit for reserved categories as per Government rules.

SSC JE 2019 Application Form

Applying for SSC JE – SSC JE application form will be available online only at the official website of SSC. Candidates need to fill both parts namely “Registration Part” and “Apply Part”.

Application Fee Payment – Candidates must pay the application fee of Rs. 100 which can be paid through online or offline mode. Female, SC, ST, PH and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from the application fee.

  • Online Mode: Through SBI net banking / debit card / credit cards.
  • Offline Mode: Through SBI e-challan which has to be deposit at any branch of SBI.

SSC JE 2019 Selection Procedure

  • 1st Step: Written Examination (Paper 1) (Objective Type) (200 marks) (Online Mode)
  • 2nd Step: Written Examination (Paper 2) (Conventional Type) (300 marks) (Offline Mode)

Note: There is no interview.

In Case of Tie

In case more than one candidate secures the equal aggregates marks, tie will be resolved by applying the following methods one after another:

1) Marks in Paper-2
2) Marks in Paper-1
3) Who is senior according to the date of birth.
4) Alphabetical order in the first names of the candidates.

SSC JE 2019 Exam Pattern & Syllabus

  • SSC JE written exam will be held in two stages namely paper-1 and paper-2.
  • SSC JE Paper-1: Paper 1 contains three parts namely (A) General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 marks), (B) General Awareness (50 marks), and (C) General Engineering(100 marks).
  • General Engineering has 3 parts: part-A (Civil & Structural), part-B (Electrical) and part-C (Mechanical). Candidates need to attempt only one part which is relevant to the applied JE post.
  • SSC JE Paper-1 will be objective type (carry 200 marks and exam duration will be 2 hours).
  • There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-1 only.
  • SSC JE Paper-2: Conventional type and carries three parts in which candidates need to attempt only one part relevant to the applied JE post. (Paper-2 carries 300 marks and exam duration will be 2 hours).

SSC JE 2019 Admit Card

SSC will not send admit card by the post therefore candidates have to download the admit card through online, download admit card from official regional website of SSC. It is compulsory to bring the admit card to the exam centre, otherwise candidates will not be allowed to enter in the exam centre premises.

SSC JE 2019 Answer Key

SSC will publish the answer key of JE exam on its official website. Commission will release the answer key for objective type paper i.e. paper-1 for all sets. SSC JE answer key will help candidates to analyse their performances in the exam. Commission will publish JE answer key after the exam or candidates can check unofficial answer key published by some coaching institutes, same will be available on this website.

SSC JE 2019 Cut Off

The cut off mean the least qualifying marks required to clear the exam. Candidates need to score equal or more than cut off marks if they want to clear the exam. SSC will publish two cut-offs first will be for paper-1 and second will be for paper-2.

SSC JE 2019 Result

SSC will release two results, first result for SSC JE paper-1 exam, second result for SSC JE paper-2 exam, who qualify in SSC JE paper-2 exam will be appointed for the JE posts. SSC JE 2019-2020 result will be available at the official website of SSC or candidates can also check the result on this website.

Eligibility Criteria for CHSL 2019

  • The candidates must have qualified higher secondary (10+2) examination or equivalent from a state or central recognized institute.
  • The minimum age to apply for SSC CHSL 2019 is 18 years and maximum age is 27 years as on 1st August 2019.
  • The relaxation in age will be given as follows-
For SC/ST age relaxation is 5 years
For OBC age relaxation is 3 years
For PH age relaxation is 10 years
For PH+OBC age relaxation is 13 years
For PH+SC/ST age relaxation is 15 years 

Application fee

For online applications- In online mode the candidates can pay either through SBI bank challan (challan can be downloaded, printed & submitted at any CBS branch of SBI) or net banking. Nominal service charges may be included in net banking mode of payment.

For offline applications- Rs. 100 has to be paid as application fee through CRF stamps. The stamps has to be cancelled before applying it on the form, otherwise the application will not be accepted.

Exemption of fee- The application fee is exempted in case of female candidates and all the reserved category candidates.

Tier-1 Exam Pattern:

  • Exam is objective type and will be conducted online.
  • Question paper will be divided into 4 sections: (1) General Intelligence & Reasoning, (2)General Awareness / General knowledge, (3) Quantitative Aptitude and (4) English Comprehension.
  • There are 100 questions for 200 marks and exam duration will be 75 minutes.
  • There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

Tier-2 Exam Pattern:

  • Exam is objective type and will be conducted online.
  • There are 4 papers, (Paper-1) Quantitative Ability, (Paper-2) English Language and Comprehension, (Paper-3) Statistics and (Paper-4) General Studies (Finance & Economics).
  • Paper-1 & 2 is compulsory for all posts and Paper-3 is only for the post of “Statistical Investigator Gr. II” & “Compiler” and Paper-4 is only for the post of “Assistant Audit Officer”.
  • Each paper carries 200 marks and exam duration is 2 hours for each paper.
  • There will be negative marking for each wrong answer, negative marking of 0.50 marks in Paper-1, Paper-3 & Paper-4 and negative marking of 0.25 marks in Paper-2.

Tier-3 Exam Pattern:

  • Exam is descriptive type and will be conducted offline.
  • Candidates need to write Essay / Précis / Letter / Application Writing etc.
  • Exam carries 100 marks and exam duration is 60 minutes and exam duration will be 80 minutes for “VH” and “Cerebral Palsy” candidates.

SSC CGL 2019 Admit Card

SSC will issue the CGL 2019 Tier-1 exam admit card on its official regional websites. Candidates can download their CGL admit card from SSC regional website or candidates can also download the admit card from this website. Commission will not send CGL admit card by mail post thus candidates need to download their CGL admit card thru online. Candidates will not be allowed to enter in the examination hall without the valid admit card.

SSC CGL 2019 Answer Key

SSC will publish the answer key of CGL exam candidates can check their performances in the exam with the help of CGL answer key. SSC releases an answer key every year for the candidates to verify their responses in the CGL examination. Commission will upload the CGL answer keys after the exam on its official website.

SSC CGL 2019 Cut Off

Every candidate is required to score the marks equal or more than the minimum qualifying marks, which is also known as the “cut off”. Cut off marks will be different for all categories. Cut off marks will be available for all the categories.

Eligibility Criteria for Steno recruitment 2019-20

  • The candidates must have qualified higher secondary (12th) examination or equivalent from a state or central recognized institute.
  • Stenographer Grade ‘C’: 18 to 30 years as on 01-01-2019 (i.e. candidates born on or after 02-01-1989 and born before or on 01-01-2001)
  • Stenographer Grade ‘D’: 18-27 years as on 01-01-2019 (i.e. candidates born on or after 02-01-1992 and born before or on 01-01-2001)
  • The relaxation in age will be given as follows-
For SC/ST age relaxation is 5 years
For OBC age relaxation is 3 years
For PH age relaxation is 10 years
For PH+OBC age relaxation is 13 years
For PH+SC/ST age relaxation is 15 years 

Application fee

For online applications- In online mode the candidates can pay either through SBI bank challan (challan can be downloaded, printed & submitted at any CBS branch of SBI) or net banking. Nominal service charges may be included in net banking mode of payment.

For offline applications- Rs. 100 has to be paid as application fee through CRF stamps. The stamps has to be cancelled before applying it on the form, otherwise the application will not be accepted.

Exemption of fee- The application fee is exempted in case of female candidates and all the reserved category candidates.

There are 3 sections in tier 1 exam 2019 complete exam is now computer based.

Only candidate who obtain qualify marks in tier 1 they called for Skill test (Tier-2)

The candidates will have to appear for the stenography test. The candidates will be given one
dictation for 10 minutes in English / Hindi at the speed of 100 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer
Grade „C‟ and 80 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade „D‟. The matter will have to be
transcribed on compute. The transcription time is as follows:-

  • For Stenographer Grade D: 50 minutes (English) | 65 minutes (Hindi)
  • For Stenographer Grade C: 40 minutes (English)| 55 Minutes (Hindi)

Selection Process:

  • 1st Step: Tier-1 Written Exam – 200 Marks
  • 2nd Step: Tier-2 Skill Test

Pay Scale:

  • Group C Posts Salary Per months : PB- 2 Rs. 9300 – Rs. 34800 + GP 4600/ 4200
  • Group D Posts salary per month: PB- 2 Rs. 5200 – Rs. 20200 + GP 2400
